How to best "unduplicate" events in Entourage

After some sync trouble (combining Entourage, e2sync, iCal and a Palm
Tungsten T3 via iSync) I'm now facing tons of duplicate events. Though
I've seen multiple postings asking for help on how to best remove
duplicate events, I haven't found any answer yet.

- Is there any script for removing duplicate events in Entourage?

Alternatively:
- Is there any script for removing duplicate events in iCal?
- Or is it recommendable to use "Undupe" on the Palm and just let it
overwrite Entourage (However: ... I believe that probably Entourage is
still the most trustworthy source in my personal data mess, thus, I
would prefer to keep Entourage as "master").

Well, given around 12.000 events there must be an easier way...
Any ideas around?
