How to calculate List price if Net and percentage known

E

Emilio

Hi,

This is probably easy, but I can't figure it out.

Sometimes I need to know what a supplier charges me "List"
and all I know is the "Net" and the "percentage".

Example:
Percentage: 53%
Net: $211.5
(In this case I know the List is $450)
Is there a formula or function that can help me figure this
out.

TIA,
Emilio

Hi Frank,

Thanks for your help again, but I can seem to get it to work.
I get the result: 399.05

I tried in my calculator and still get: 399.05

Am I doing something wrong?

Try this Emilio,

=211.5/(1-53%)
=211.5/(1-0.53)
=211.5/(100-53)*100
