How to configure fix line width in emails with textformat?

How can I change the fix width in emails using plain ascii or is it even possible?

You can't. Entourage has a fixed line length for text e-mails (I think it's
80 characters total, allowing for 76 characters and 4 quoting levels). If
you send a message in HTML format, then the text has no fixed line length
and will automatically wrap appropriately.

There is a standard called format=flowed that some other mail clients
support sending. It is basically wrapped plain text that behaves like HTML
in that sense. Entourage supports reading it, but not composing it. Feel
free to continue sending feedback and suggestions here, as the Mac BU
monitor this newsgroup.
