How to convert a JPEG image back to BMP in Word?

I have been using CTRL+SHIFT+F9 to convert embedded Bitmap objects to
graphics in Word 2000 to help keep my file sizes manageable. I now need to
edit the embedded pictures and the onboard graphics editor in Word doesn't
cut it. I'd like to use Paint to do my editing but can't see an easy way to
do that. Can anyone advise me on a way to convert my Word graphics back to
embedded objects?

Thanks in advance.

It's not possible. Word doesn't store the information it would require (that's
why your file size is smaller). You could copy/paste the graphics to Paint,
then back again?
