How to copy Entourage identity to another user account

I'm having a very odd problem with my inbox in entourage (G5 desktop w/
Panther). I'd like to try it in another user account, to see if I can get
away from it. But I have a ton of stuff customized and I'd like to move it
without having to redo everything by hand (signatures, email account login
options, etc.). What files do I need to copy (where is all that stuff
stored)? I realize that my problem may go with it - I'll do it one by one
and hopefully will catch the problem. Thanks!

Option-drag the "Microsoft User Data" folder from
/Users/<Your Current User>/Documents/
to
/Users/<New User>/Public/Drop Box/

Log in as the new user. Then, drag the "Microsoft User Data" folder from
/Users/<New User>/Public/Drop Box/
to
/Users/<New User>/Documents/

Launch Entourage, and your data should appear. If it doesn't, go to
Entourage > Switch Identity and re-select your identity.

Hi Mickey -

Thanks for the info! It works (although I had to do one extra step -
change ownership, recursively, of everything below the Microsoft User Data
folder to that of the new user). The new user also had the same weird
problem I was having ("action cannot be completed" when in Inbox, so clearly
it's in the database somewhere. I still can't compact it - it gets most of
the way through, and then quits saying there's not enough space (even though
I have 100 gigs free on my disk). Do you have any suggestions? Perhaps I
should create a new identity from scratch and add back (one by one...) my
setup to it?

Hi
am having a smiliar problem but in my case want to migrate
from Entourage X to Entourage 2004. Is there any
difference in the way 2004 recognised an X database?

I have done this - I have used the Wizard but it consistently returns
Identity not found. It does not matter where I have the Microsoft User
Folder located - I have EX on my iMac and E2004 on my new G4. I have
tried to copy the Ex User folder to my G4, to the Publi/Drop box on
the iMac, to the Desktop of the G4. I have changed user access,
ownership - but in every case on browsing to the Folder the wizard
returns "Identity not found."

The iMac and G4 are networked together via a LAN
