How to delete an extra InBox

On the MS Entourage 2004 menu bar there is a folder icon for "Move" with
popup list of folders. When I am in the Junk mail or Deleted mail
folders the Move popup shows two (2) InBox folders under the Move menu
item. One is my normal Inbox and God only knows where the other is
located. I have moved some item into the other Inbox and they are gone
forever.

How can I ditch the mystery InBox?

Are you using a POP, IMAP, or Exchange connection. If you are using IMAP or
Exchange, you will have 2 Inboxes. It doesn't sound like you are, but just
want to make sure.

Mike,

I do not use IMAP or Exchange connection. Just tried it again. Just
went to the Junk mail folder and selected a message and two 'Inbox'
options are in the 'Move' pull down. I have no way of knowing which is
the correct Inbox.

Sorry, but I don't know why it would be showing two inboxes then. You could
try deleting the preferences file, but I doubt that will help.

For the benefit of anyone reading I found a fix. The 2nd Inbox was
from my Archived 2004 Mail folder. I went into the folder and changed
the name to Inbox-04 and now that name shows up in the Move menu as well
as the normal Inbox for the current year. I archive my mail by years in
Entourage.
