I have a similiar problem as below, but the answer does not make sense to me.
I use a Pop3 server. My delete file on Outlook (2000) has a line through the
subject. There is no email address in the "From" area. If I try to delete the
file, Outlook closes after trying to send the problem to Microsoft.
PLEASEEEES HELPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!
It sounds like you are using an IMAP account. When you delete a message in
IMAP, you just get the line through it and it is not really deleted yet. To
purge items you have selected for deletion, connect to the IMAP account, then
select Edit | Purge Deleted Messages.
