Recently I have started getting emails apparently composed in .htm
format, but I cannot see their content in the preview pane.
When I receive one of these messages, the Preview window in Entourage
is blank, as if the message body were empty. The attachments window
shows an attachment called "text.htm". I can open the attachment--it
opens in a web browser window and then displays the body of the message
in the browser window. However, that is all it displays--I do not get
the subject or any headers displayed in the browser, only the text that
is the body of the message.
This is very frustrating because in Entourage these messages just
appear to be blank, and even though I can ultimately get to the text by
opening the attached text.htm file in a browser, in order to quote the
original in my reply I of course have to copy the original message from
the browser window and paste it back into Entourage.
My preferences are set to "Display complex HTML in messages" and to
"Show attached pictures and movies in messages".
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
