No to either.
Move the emails into a folder of their own, then drag that folder to the
desktop where it will create an MBOX file.
Switch to the other identity and drag that MBOX file back into the folder
listing.
Also - if you just have a few emails at a time, you do not need to make a
new special folder for them every time you want to do this. Just drag the
emails themselves to your desktop, where they become .eml files. Switch to
the other identity and drag the .eml files into any folder you want - they
become emails there. (Then delete the .eml files from your desktop.)
