How to export address groups from one Identity to another ?

I have set up two different identities in Entourage. I am trying to
export all of my contacts from one identity to a new one. When i export
the contacts into a text file and then re-import them into the new
identity, i get all of the individual contacts but i don't get the
address groups. How can I import my existing address groups into a new
identity?
Also how can I export/import my email folders and saved emails from one
group to another?
Please help.

If you have Entourage 2001, use the scripts in Paul Berkowitz's free "Group
Stuff" script package.

Otherwise, check out Paul Berkowitz's "Export-Import Entourage" script
package.

I'm guessing you're talking about from one identity to another. One way is
to simply drag messages and folders from Entourage to the Desktop. When you
switch to another identity, you can drag messages and folders in MBOX format
back in.

In Entourage 2004, you can automate the above process by using the Export
feature (File > Export). Choose to "Export items to an Entourage archive",
and then make sure "Mail" is checked to be archived. You can choose to
export all mail or just mail associated with a certain category or project.
Then, you can import the resulting RGE archive into a different identity.

In the future, please state which version of Entourage you're using. That
allows us to provide more relevant, targeted advice.

You could also use my free "Export Address Groups" and "Import Address
Groups" scripts. You must import your contacts into the new identity
first, then import the groups. See my website below; follow links to
AppleScripts for You, and the Downloads page. Pick your version.

I have Entourage version 10. I am running it on OS X on a mac G5. Sorry
for the lack of info earlier. Is the above still relevant?

I have a slightly different problem, but this is the closest I have
seen to tmy situation. I set up a new identity in Entourage 2004 on an
exchange 2003 server. When I sync to the server, it does not sync
groups that are on the server. These groupd were created in Outlook on
a PC. Is there a way to get entourage to recognize and sync these
groups?
