How to get a message's folder from Spotlight?

Hi everyone. This is my first posting to this group, so I apologize in
advance if this information has already been posted, or if I am asking
in the wrong forum.

I have been using the Spotlight/Entourage integration for some time
now, and everything works great. There is one thing I can't figure out
how to do: when a message appears in the Spotlight results, how can I
find out what folder it belongs to?

The Get Info command is not available for messages. Also, I tried
doing some spelunking with mdls, and here is what I found:

com_microsoft_entourage_accountID = 1
com_microsoft_entourage_folderID = 105
etc...

Is there anything I can do with this folder ID? Even if it is a
complex workaround, I would still appreciate it.

I am probably missing something really obvious, but if anyone could
give me any pointers, I would really appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Matt Solnit <[email protected]>

I assume that opening the message to see where it lives isn't acceptable?
Once open, the "Move" button, if clicked and held, will display the current
folder at the top.

An alternative might be, if you have the folder ID, to run this AppleScript
(in Script Editor, or paste it there and save it into Entourage Script Menu
Items so you can run it from the menu):

Tell application "Microsoft Entourage"
Display dialog "Enter folder ID" default answer ""
Set fid to text returned of result
Set fname to name of folder id fid
Display dialog "Open folder " & fname & "?" buttons {"No","Yes"}
If button returned of result is "Yes" then open folder fname
End tell

Hi Allen. Thanks for your response. Holding down the "Move" button is
exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again!
