how to get "day/night" from a cell of time/hour

cell a1=1/1/08 08:00:00 AM, cell a2= 1/1/08 22:00:00 PM
cell b1 or b2= day/night
what should be the syntax?

You need to define when day ends and night begins and when night ends and
