How to hide paragraph symbol from appearing in a new mail msg?

how can i get the paragraph symbols to disappear (hide) everytime I open a
new mail message. The paragraph symbol isnt on my tool bar nor can I find an
option to add so that I can choose to hide it. HELP!!! The symbols are so
annoying!

If you don't have the Word toolbars displayed then you can press Ctrl
+ Shift + * or go to Tools/Options/View and in the "Formatting marks"
section turn them off.

I know you find them annoying, however they do reveal a lot of
information about your document and aid in troubleshooting. For more
