how to hide/remove/add/edit template info

During editing a slide, on Normal view

at the bottom of the page (status line) several information pieces are
displayed, e.g.

Slide x of y
Language of the slide

One of the info displayed also is about the original template used as design
basis. How can I add/edit/remove information about this?

If you change the name of the master this info will change. View > Master >
Slide Master
Right click > rename master

Thanks. That does work.

However, once I set the master name, there does not seem to be anyway to
remove it. Or at least the rename master does not allow me to put a blank
value. Is there some other way to achieve this?

You could probably use a space.

Oh, nuts, that doesn't work. An apostrophe doesn't look too bad -- you end
up with "'" at the bottom in that space.
