how to I track outstanding replies to emails sent?

I need to keep track of whether i have received replies to emails sent via an
aged list of emails that have not received a reply.

Is there an add-in which supplies such a facility?

Read receipts? (Note- it is very helpful if you mention your version of
Outlook/Exchange since there are so many versions with differing behavior.)

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Hi Milly

Sorry about that - I thought it was implicit. Details are Outlook (2002),
Version 10.0, Build 6515

What I am looking for is a facility, or add in ,which will enable me to
state as I send an e-mail how soon I anticipate a reply in days (0 = no
reply), keep a file of anticipated replies, produce an aged list of
outstanding replies, check emails received to oustanding file by email
address and ask me to confirm apparent matches, and then update the
outstanding file depending upon my reply. Also needs facility to eventually
remove "no hopers".

OK I am probably asking a lot, but imagine it must be a common need, so am
hopeful it might exist out there somewhere.
