How to list connectors on selected shape

lets say i have a diagram composed of 1 network switch, 1 server and one
laptop.
The laptop and the server each have a connector to the switch.

switch_1--------server_1
|
|
laptop_1


If i select the switch, server or laptop i get ZERO for "Connects.Count". If
i select either one of the connectors in the diagram i get a result of TWO.

I would like to get a result of TWO when i have the switch selected, and i
would expect a result of ONE when i have either the laptop or server
selected.

Any hints appreciated!!!!!!!!!
