I'm syncing my Entourage appointments and contacts with a PocketPC device.
Unfortunately, I've noticed that if I restore the device from a backup, the
"last modified" date on its contacts is set to the day I do the restore, not
the day they were actually set up. This is a problem because the next time I
sync to my desktop, it thinks all of the contacts are newest on the device
(because of the recent restore date) and over-write the ones on my desktop.
So, what I'd like to do is to somehow "touch" (as in the Unix command which
updates the "last modified" time of any file to the current time) all of the
contacts and appointments on my desktop Entourage, so that when I next sync,
all of the desktop ones overwrite the ones on the device. How do I do it?
I'm running Panther on a G5, with Entourage vX. Thanks in advance!
