How to make contacts secure

Would you mind explaining a bit more about the exact scenario.

Who has access to your PDA? Do you password protect your PDA? Can't you just
lock the PDA so nobody can access it or is there some need for somebody to
access some stuff on it?

Telling us your version of outlook would also be useful.

Enable the password feature on your PDA so that only you can use it. One
cannot password-protect single items in Outlook.

I have a new IPhone and did not want to have to lock the PDA all the time. I used t o have selected contacts and events password protected on my Palm PDA so to open these specific records I had to use a password. In this way if I lost my PDA with the device unlocked I would not expose these bits of information to some person who found my PDA. It is not convenient to have to lock the PDA since it is also a phone.
Thanks

Frank
