The only effective strategy is to preview your site in
various sized browser windows, and then adjust your
design until you can tolerate the various results.

If you size the outermost page layout table at
width=100%, the page will stretch and shrink to fit the
window, but it will also get shorter or taller.

If you size the outermost page layout table to a specific
width, content at the right will be hidden if the browser
window is smaller than you predicted. If the browser
window is larger than you predicted, large blank areas
will appear along the right margin.

Thanks a lot Jim! Thius is my first attempt at building
a web page. You said "...you size the outermost page
layout table at width=100%..." I looked in help in
FrontPage and iI coould not figure out how to do it.
When I searched the help index it just talked about a
Table, not a page. Please elaborate.

Also an animated gif I used did not show up in a Netscape
browser. What might cause this? It is the latest
version of the browser. It is just fine with IE. Thanks
for your help. Mark
