How to merge data from two identities

I have been using Entourage X on two different Macs. They have overlapping
but distinct databases. Is there a way to merge the two into one identity
such as by importing one into the other? If so, is there a way to import
only one copy of duplicate messages?

only one copy of duplicate messages?

€ The simplest thing for messages is to move your other identity into the
Office 2004 Identities folder in your active OS X user's Documents/Microsoft
User Data/Office X Identities folder. !!! Rename it first if it has the same
name as your current identity (e.g. "Main Identity") or it will erase the
current folder - you want them both in there.
€ Relaunch Entourage.
€ Go to Entourage/Switch identities... and switch to the renamed identity. €
€ Once there, drag every folder containing messages you want to your desktop
where each will become an .mbox file
€ Switch back to your current identity. One by one, drag in the .mbox files
- they will become mail folders. (If you want some to be subfolders you can
drag them directly to the parent folder.)
€ Don't worry about folders called the same as current folders (e.g.
"Inbox"). They will be automatically renamed "Inbox 1" etc.
€ Now go into each imported folder whose messages you actually want to
transfer to one of your existing folders (e.g. Inbox).
€ Select all messages in the imported folder, and click Move button. Choose
which folder to move the messages to.
€ When moved, delete the now empty imported folder.
€ Repeat as often as necessary.

If you also want to merge contacts, calendar items, tasks, etc. you could do
some of it by dragging contacts to desktop as vCards, events as .ics files,
etc. but it soon would become very unwieldy - and there's no duplicate
control. You could do it much more easily with my shareware scripts
Export-Import Entourage X, from

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

It was designed for this. It will export what you want and import what you
want - virtually everything. It also has duplicate control, selection by
time frame, etc. I think this is probably what you're looking for.
