How to merge multiple Contact Lists into one or Delete extra list

I have created multiple contact lists in error and need to delets the extras
and merge others. I found the menu path at ..C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
but .. this just bring me to information that I cannot view.
HELP !!!
