How to NOT ARRANGE BY ANYTHING in Entourage?

My entourage view for email has been hijacked. Not sure what mistaken
mouse click I did to cause this to happen, but my mail, which was
previously organized in very efficient one-line items which could be
sorted by a number of columns by clicking on the column header,
suddenly has become "arranged by" various items. I absolutely hate this
view. I cannot figure out how to get back to my original, NOT ARRANGED
BY ANYTHING view. The "show in groups", another annoy-ware feature of
2004, can easily be turned off, but perhaps I am missing something, how
do I get rid of this "arrange by" view? I want my messages back, one
line per message, with a variety of column headers, any one of which
can be clicked to sort by that column.

Help!!!

View menu, 'Preview Pane >'; 'Below list'
View menu, 'arrange by >'; uncheck 'Show in groups'

Barry, for extra credit: How can one "uncheck" 'Show in groups'
GLOBALLY?
I rarely use the Grouping function... and I have extensive folder
structures. Currently it seems that I must turn off every single one
of them manually, the first time I view each one.

Thanks,

Sorry, but no magic bullet on this one - it's something you need to do just
once for each folder.

However, if you start exploring 'custom arrangements', you may find you like
the groups in some folders...

Nope. The display is not scriptable.

What do you think this is, Eudora? ;-)
