I'm trying to add exceptions to the Capitalize First Letter rule. Under
Exceptions, there's a "Don't Capitalize After" list. I'd like to add some
entries to this list but when I do the "Add" button does not activate (it
remains greyed out). I suspect that this is because the first letter of my
entries is a number, not a letter. For ex., these are some of the
abbreviations I'm trying to enter:
1a.
2a.
3a. And so on... (the "And" here should not be capitalized--that's what I'm
trying to achieve.)
But when I enter 1a. (and so on..) Word does not recognize these as
legitimate entries. In other words I can't enter them.
Is there any workaround to this problem? A way to have word not capitalize
after such entries?
Thanks!
