how to: publish a browser compatible, webservice enabled, infopath form to wss ?

Hi !
I'm trying to publish a browser compatible, webservice enabled
infopath form to a Windows SharePoint Services server but keep getting
an error (when opening in a browser) that it can't find the data-
connection.

What I've setup:
->WSS 3.0 + Infopath Forms Services
->A webservice on another server in the same domain that returns
'hello world' (A webservice seems the only solution when I want my
form browser compatible AND have my form talking to a database...)
->The form works when opened in infopath

What I read on the internet I proberly need a Data Connection Library
where I must store the webservice connection to use in my infoPath
form. But... is this possible in WSS 3.0 ? I cannot find that type of
document library ANYWHERE ! The only next thing is the Data Connection
Library in the form services manager; It's possible to upload a UDC
file there, but what then ? How do I connect to this library since it
does not seem to have any url or connection-location ?

Or maybe I need to install the webservice on the WSS server itself, so
there is no cross-domain security issue ?
Anybody any idea's ???
THANKS!!!
Shuwi

ps: the exact error is:
An error occurred accessing a data source.

An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server.

I am having the same issues. Did you find a solution? I'm also thinking that
MOSS is required for this.

Thanks,

Hi,

I'm having the same problem (as soon as I insert a webservice into the forms
dataconnection). Musst be some kind of authentication problem.

Already any solution for that?

Our solution was to make the form fully trusted. Tools >> Form Options >>
Security and then upload and activate into SharePoint.

Thanks, but that does not help in my case. Still searching.

Hi Guys,

If you are using infopath with Sharepoint Portal Services, you can utilize
the Universal Data Connector. If you have attached to your datasource as a
secondary, you can then convert this connection and save/publish it into a
UDC Catalog on the portal. The UDC Library is a varied for of the document
library that the Admin will need to Create (Perfrably at the root of the Site
Collection).

This is a new area for m but I hope that thi may help with you guys.
