How to put objects in cells

I am a teacher. Ihave developed a spread sheet that
generates multiple guess tests from a library of
questions and randomize the question selection and the
answer options so that I can give the same test multiple
times and not worry about the answer key getting out.
But I have not found a way to include figures in the
spread sheet. How can I link an object to a cell
reference so that it can be refered to by another cell?

sorry, you can't. objects sit on top of the sheet. they
are not and can not be tied to or put into cells.

I guess I am using the wrong program to do what I want.
Does anyone have a suggestion what might be more
appropriate? The test questions and answers might
contain illustrations or equations.
