How to receive e-mail as soon as they were send to my account

I currently have my entourage set up so that it checks my e-mail every
ten minutes, but I was wondering if there is anyway that I can set it
up that entourage receives the mail immediately.

At work I have outlook and I find it really convenient that I receive
the mail as soon as someone sends it to me and there is no schedule
and/or need to hit the send/receive button.

If anyone knows how to set that up, please let me know.

I also would like to be able to receive my email more frequently then
every 10 minutes. So far, i haven't found a way to do this. I certainly
hope someone has a solution.

Do you use Exchange at work? If yes, Exchange accounts work slightly
differently from other email accounts, as far as I know; maybe someone else
can add a few things here. I'd recommend checking your emails more
frequently by using a schedule, which should also be what "luvmymac" is
looking for. The frequency can be set in Tools>Schedules, and I should
perhaps warn you that some email accounts, such as Hotmail, do not like it
when they're being checked too frequently, and you might end up getting
error messages and failed connections. "luvmymac", if you want to create a
new schedule, I suggest you type "schedule" into Entourage's help window to
find out more about them. If you still need some help, post back.
