How to remove a 'DRAFT' watermark that is hardcoded in Word doc?

It's probably anchored in the header or footer of the document, so you will
need to open the header/footer pane by selecting Headers and Footers from
the View menu.

And if this doesn't work, check to see if you have enable a watermark in
your printer driver.
