How to remove page borders?

T

Ted

Would someone please tell me how to get rid of Page Borders outlining every
page? The border 1st appeared on every page when I started tracking document
changes. It doesn't disappear in Print and it only disapears on screen in
Normal View even after turning off the Review Changes feature.
Thx,
Ted

Hi Ted,

Those are probably NOT borders in the sense of borders and shading. Instead,
they are part of the track changes identifiers; they're supposed to help you
locate where in a document someone has add or deleted something. You can
turn this "feature" off. If you're using Word 2003:
On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Track Changes tab.
In the Changed lines list, select (none).
Click OK.

HTH,
Dave

Dave & Angyl,
In Word 2003 I was finally able to turn off Changed Lines which it did not
take before. In Word 2000 I am unable to turn-off Changed Lines which only
shows up in Print and only displays in Print Layout. Your suggestions are
appreaciated.
thanks,
Ted
