How to Save as MDE

I find lots of references in Access 2002 help taling ABOUT
saving a database as an MDE file to save space, etc.
However, nowhere that I can find actually tells one HOW to
save the db as an MDE file. How is it done? Thanks.

Dear Cheryl et al:

I am working on Saturday night because I have a project
due. What reason do all the helpful MVPs have? Do you
guys get paid to help guys like me, or are you just
megadosing on coffee and enjoy plinking around on the
newsgroups? Either way, I am truly grateful! God bless.

Well, we like Access and want others to have success with it. Many of us
like the problem-solving aspect, others of us find "helping out" to be
somewhat addictive, and all of us enjoy the "thank you's" and the occasional
"God bless". MVPs are not Microsoft employees and we are not paid by
them. We do receive a modest software gift, a certificate, and enjoy some
other "perks" such as a private newsgroup and enhanced capabilities to
communicate with Microsoft staff about their products.

I'm plinking around in the NGs tonight because it has been a lousy weather
week in Houston, it's too cold to go out tonight and I should be working on
a proposal/estimate for a possible new project, but I have a writer's block
right now!

Thanks for your kind thoughts!

Too cold in Houston? It was -20 C last night here; we had a barbeque.

As of Jan 1 of this year, I report to a manager in Houston. He flew up to
Toronto to meet with me during the worst snowstorm we'd had in at least 5
years, and then the two of us flew to Calgary, where it was -35 without the
windchill (no real need to distinguish between Celsius and Fahrenheit at
that temperature!) If I recall correctly, it was supposed to go down to
freezing in Houston the night he was flying back. He was looking forward to
the warmth... <g>

LOL! I knew as soon as I hit the send button that I would hear from
friends up North. In Houston, when you get used to winter temps in the 50s
and even 60s and up, you get really whiny when temps drop into the 30s and
40s.

Let's see ... If your boss flew to Canada in the dead of winter to meet
with you, I'll bet there's a trip to Houston in the summer in your future.
