Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I have been using a BitTorrent version of Office 2008 and just bought a legit one. I believe I need to uninstall the BitTorrent version before installing the legit one, but I don't want to lose all of my Entourage email folders and their contents. Is there a way I can save all of that information and use it in the legit version of Entourage? I'm looking for something equivalent to the outlook.pst file that Outlook creates on the PC. Thanks!

Entourage stores its data in ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data. This folder
will not be modified during the uninstall process, so if you remove Office
(using the Remove Office tool in Applications/Microsoft Office
2008/Additional Tools/Remove Office) and reinstall the legal version, make
sure you apply all the necessary updates, and you should be able to access
your data again the next time you launch Entourage.

THank you. THis appeared to work because I saw a message come up saying my identity was being upgraded after I installed Office 2008. However, I can't tell for sure because now everytime I try to start any MS OFfice 2008 program, the Microsoft Office Setup Assistant comes up prompting me to participate in the Customer Experience Improvement Program. I select "No", and next I'm prompted once again to update the software which I did once already after installing the legit software. When I close that dialogue box, the program doesn't open up. When I click on the icon to open it up, I'm sent back again into the MS Office Setup Assistant loop. Any advice on how to get out of that and get the programs to actually start up? Thanks again.
