How to save .ppt as .htm and make it work

Hi folks - I would like to save a power point presentation as a web browser
file, so that people that might not have powerpoint can look at it,
(assuming everybody has a web browser. I followed the instructions for this
and got an .htm file that works if I run it from my c: disk, but does not
run if I copy it to a CD. I notice that the .ppt file is about 97,000KB,
whereas the corresponding .htm file is only 3KB, which doesn't seem right.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Robert

Robert,

It sounds like you are not copying ALL the files.

When powerpoint generates the web pages from your presentation. It generates lots of files (and sometimes additional
folders). You need to copy everything.
whereas the corresponding .htm file is only 3KB
This small file is probably what links to all the other htm powerpoint generates.

Great! That was easy. Should have known, I guess.
Such great expertise here that I'll ask another question, but I'll start it
in a new thread, called "How to get film clips into powerpoint."
Thanks!
