How to secure account on your machine?

In Outlook 2001, you had to log in before you could access the account
and all of its stored emails. How does one do this in Entourage X?

Even if you don't add the password to the keychain, you can still pull
up a new mail window and see all of the account's emails. You just
have to log in to send or receive. Not very private.

In the Security System Prefs, require a password to awaken from sleep or
from the screen saver. Configure the screen saver to kick in after5 minutes,
and also use a hot corner to force the screen saver when walking away from
the computer.

The only security I'm aware of is that placed on your Mac OS X account.
Ergo, make sure you have a strong password on your account (Panther supports
long passwords), use the screen saver "require password" feature (which will
require a password anytime your computer wakes from sleep or drops to the
screen saver), and possibly even set an idle logout on your computer in
System Preferences > Security (applies to all user accounts).

Since you have local Entourage data on disk in your account, even if
Entourage prevented access to information through the application, I suppose
someone could always riffle through the files (the database, etc.)
themselves.
