How to select alternate addresses (in adress book) when creatingnew mail?

A

Apple Computer

When creating a new mail and clicking the address book to choose the
receipient, only the main address of the receipient can be selected. Is
there any other method other than to type in the first few letters of the
address manually? thanks

Just navigate the hierarchical list of addresses with the cursor keys.

You can add the default address, then right click the address to select an
alternate one.

Here are a few other methods:
A. Type in the person's name. When he or she is selected, press the right
arrow key, use the down arrow key to select the proper address, and press
the Return key.
B. Open the Address Book. Find the contact to whom you want to send mail,
locate the proper address, and click the envelope button to the left of it.
