How to set a default address list to use?

I have an Exchange account, but all my contacts are in my local
(Folders on my computer) contact folder. Previous to today, when I
would start a new message, my local contact folder would always show up
to the right of the "add an address to your message" popup window.
Today it always comes up with the Exchange contact address book, which
is empty, and I cannot seem to change it back. I don't see anyplace in
the preferences to change this. Entourage 2004. Latest version as of
3 weeks ago.

Entourage will display the calendar of the default account - for all IMAP &
POP accounts this will be the local address book, for exchange accounts it
will be the exchange address book. To display the local address book, you
need to change the default mail account to a POP or IMAP account.
