how to set power point slide as a desktop background

Harry,
Select the slide you want to save as a background. Save your presentation
using save as, in the save as list, choose *.jpg, *.png *.bmp. Click save
button, PPT will ask you if you want t save the current slide or all the
slides, click current slide.
Now set your background in Windows Xp/Vista, browse to your picture, select
it and you are done.
