How to set timed music in powerpoint

I have set the music to start halway through the track but there seems to be
no timed stop on the custome animation / timing - there is only stop on
click, after current slide or after ( number) of slides. Can you help please

If I understand your question correctly - you desire your music clip to stop
at a particular point, you'll need to do that in an audio editing program.
