My main form shows information on hundreds of parent companies that I am
tracking. My subform shows a subsidiary level of the companies (sometimes a
parent has 3 or 4 subsidiaries) and various information on these
subsidiaries. A subsidiary only has one parent and I would like to show all
subsidiaries under the parent but am having difficulty because the
subsidiaries are listed as separate records.
The layout I am looking for is to have the parent (and its info) listed once
at the top and then all its subsidiaries (and their info) listed beneath it.
It is similar to a form and subform (with a form view) but I need to have all
subsidiaries listed side-by-side in separate columns with their info list
vertically underneath them.
Does this involve macros? Can this same layout be executed in a data access
page? Is a data access page a better option since a print-out version is
what I am looking for?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
