How to stop Excel convert (c) to © automatically?

In Excel, I was trying to put (c) in a cell. But no matter how I changed
format of the cell (text, general, or put ' in front of (c)...), Excel
converted it into © automatically!! It's really annoying... how to stop it?

Tools > Options > Spelling > Autocorrect > and remove the un-wanted correction.
