How to stop ppt resizing images?

Where is the control that will stop ppt auto-resizing images its driving me
crazy!
I paste in one image onto a slide and it 'helpfully' resizes and moves all
the other carefully placed images.

Worked it out it was to do with the template I was using once I created a
plain slide that did the trick.

Not sure what resolved it in your case, but typically the culprit is
that #!%&#! AutoCorrect-Automatic Layout for Inserted Objects option.
