How to synch/ merge/ version control 2 Contact [2002 SP3] files that are
different ?

and how are they different?
You can copy contacts from one folder to another uisng drag and drop and can
open multiple PST files in Outlook.

The 2 different files have different contacts and are on different machines,
both PC's. I have LogMeIn and LapLink 12 on both machines. They are not on
a network, but are internet capable.
Ideally, I would like an application that would merge the different
contacts, filter out the duplicates, leave a copy on both machines, and
maintain the 2 files in the future so they match when one or the other is
edited.

There are some methods and applications here that might help:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm
I don't have direct experience with them and they might not fully do what
you want. In particular, I'm thinking about the possibility of duplicates to
begin with.
