How to use Vlookup with IF Function

i
I am Trying to return ,let's say the word "Potato" or "Street" or "People"
from different string. Example of one string "No Potato for you" or
"Poeple's House". Keep in mind that I need the formula to lookup about 7
different words within sheet1 and return a vlookup in sheet2.
