Ian Elliott

Thanks for any help.
I use Explorer a bit, and every time I open it, Local Disk (C:) is opened
and the contents are displayed automatically. Everytime I close it, as it
takes a bit of space in the window. I hardly ever look in my C: drive, more
often I go to the LAN. Can I turn this off? Not a big deal, but imagining I
will do it for the rest of my life is kinda scary too.
Thanks again.

Just for future reference, this newsgroup is dedicated to Office and
typically you'll find those who know the most about Windows in a
Windows newsgroup so you may want to post future Windows related
questions in one of the Windows newsgroups. Otherwise you may not get
the answer you are looking for around here. But this time it looks
like you were lucky Carey was around to answer your question. :)

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
