How would I automate this in Entourage?

I need to find a way to automate something in Entourage 2004. I would like
to print all sent items in the Exchange account that have PDF or JPEG
attachments. I need to print the attachment and the email. Any ideas?

Hi,

here's one way of doing it, but I'm not sure if it will work with Exchange.
Create a new custom view. Select as Item Type "Messages", then specify the
folder (in your case the Sent Items folder in Exchange). For the Criteria,
specify "if any criteria are met", and create two conditions, each one being
"Attachment" "Name ends with", then enter ".jpg" in one and ".pdf" in the
other, without the quotation marks. Now select the custom view, and you
should see all the messages to which these conditions apply. If you select
one message, then go to Edit>Select All, you can click on File>Print to
print all these messages. Only downside: the PDF attachments. These
attachments will not print as proper PDF files, but only as PDF previews (of
the first page only, in case of PDF files with multiple pages). You'd better
save as PDF first from within the Print menu to see if the final result
meets your expectations; if it doesn't, you may have to print the PDF
attachments separately. Again, I'm not sure if Custom Views work with
Exchange accounts, but you can always give it a try.

Wow. Thank you so much! I'll try this.
