HTML links modified

You probably need to send us a little bit more info on this - can you paste in the block of text where this link is getting broken? It may have to do with the way the text is wrapped.

If other apps are handling the same links correctly, it sure sounds like a bug!

I have a strange problem where WEB links seems to be changed when read by
Entourage (2008 on OSX 10.5)

Is changed into this one
<http://onshus.no/TNG/getperson.php?personID=I60372=1>

Just in case the same happen to you, it should end on "I60372&tree=1", but
"&tree" is removed. I have checked on Outlook/Exchange and other platforms
where it is correct, so why is the HTML link modified?

The mail is generated by a php script on a genealogy website, so I think the
easiest is to use that and propose a change to debug Entourage. Set in your
e-mail address and send a copy to yourself.I have already done it for you,
and my copy is missing the &tree phrase:))

I get a copy of the mail also, but don't bother.

As fare as I can see, there is no line brake problem.
Below are two links
Link: http://onshus.no/TNG/getperson.php?personID=I60372&tree=1
Link: http://onshus.no/TNG/getperson.php?personID=I60372=1
The first one is forwarded from Outlook to Entourage (and is correct). The
last one is directly from Entourage and is missing some vital text at the
end.
If you go into the first link and suggest a change with copy to your own
mail address, you get the original result to that mail address, and can get
all information untouched by my MacBook.

Copied into Entourage from the link you provided:

http://www.onshus.no/TNG/suggest.php?enttype=I&ID=I60372&tree=1

<http://www.onshus.no/TNG/suggest.php?enttype=I&ID=I60372&tree=1>

In my draft I see them as the same. Let's see what they look like when sent.

Below you see that both links are OK, the only difference is that the last
one is bracketed in <>.
When I copy from the two links into my version they get different, but equal
to the original links. The one without "&tree" is not expanded as it seems
to be in your version.
Could there be a difference because I use Norwegian version of OSX?

I use a script to insert URLS from a web page that automatically encloses
URL in brackets. You'll find links for different browsers here:

That is a very good possibility. I'll forward this on to the developers.

I have had the same problem with a Mac OSX machine in my office.
Switching to HTML format (from text format) seems to resolve the
problem - as well as retaining long links without wrap/breaking across
more than one line.

I have the same problem in HTML format and Western European ISO... We have an evoicemail system that emails voice messages, the email includes links that allow you to connect to the server to delete messages. Entourage appears to be ommitting parts of these links, basically anything that starts with an & ampersand.

Correct and working link: (from webmail client)
<https://evoicemail.XXX.edu/deletems...0000$0!1&MsgDT=5/22/2008 10:37:00 AM&CS=43489>

Incorrect or invalid link: (entourage 08 SP1)
<https://eVoicemail.XXX.edu/deletems...0010000000000$0!1=5/22/2008 10:37:00 AM=43489>

It is the same email message. Notice how it removes &Mailbox, &CCM, &MsgDT, and &CS.

I have tried toggling Preferences>Security>HTML Options, but do not see any other formatting or security options available to check.

It also seems that when sending a message with both correct and incorrect links through Entourage, it does not mangle the url of the correct or incorrect one.
