Hey everyone. I've been rolling out Exchange 2007 into our organization for some time now, but Mac users have generated a lot of headache with Entourage mail client.
I have the usual Exchange rollout using Microsoft ISA to allow RPC over HTTP (using SSL, of course) and this works just wonderfully using Outlook. Also Outlook Web Access poses no issues either, but Entourage..
I learned some time ago that Entourage is actually using HTTP to connect to Exchange, that means it is using Web Access (OWA), of course. So since I'm using SSL protected OWA (inside and outside of the office LAN) i got it to work really easily by just typing the OWA address into the Exchange server field.
But.. thing is that only my own user account (standard Domain User) is able to use Entourage to connect to our Exchange. I have no clues whatsoever why and how, but I have created a whole bunch of test user accounts with e-mail boxes, and none of them can connect. Normally when you type a wrong user account or password to Entourage authentication prompt, it displays you to verify them, but for those test accounts it doesn't. Nothing just happens.
As I am really no OS X nor Entourage expert, could some one point me if there is some very basic reason for this, e.g. Entourage caching something that remains hidden even though I remove accounts while testing?
