Hyperlink help

Rolland

For some reason when I "copy & paste" a web address into a email I am
sending through Entourage it won't make a link. Even tried using the
"Insert" function and no help there either. Dragged the address from
my Safari address bar into the email and no good.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

If you drag the address over it should work OK for your recipients. You must
include the 'http://' part before the 'www.domain.com' part for entourage to
know that it is a valid web address (not all web addresses start with www.,
and in theory www. Can be used as part of any text, and doesn't necessarily
need to be a web address).

However, this link will not show up 'hot' until the message is saved, so it
won't appear to be clickable in the message you are composing. Save the
message as a draft and the url will be hot then.
