Hyperlink on exit slide

On my final powerpoint slide, I have a hyperlink to a word document saved on
the same network drive. This hyperlink works until i save the presentation.
When i re-open it, the hyperlink is lost. I have completed this
successfully on three previous presentations altough were using Office 97,
whereas i am now using Ofice 2000 professional. Any Ideas?

You will have better succes if you if you keep all of your files
(presentation and files you link to) on your local machine in a single
folder. Gather them together before your create the links. For a
presentation already created, delete the links and re-link to the files in
the common folder. Links are very fragile and linking across the network
could make them more so.
