Hyperlink?

Hi,

When you copy and paste a hyperlink into a message in Outlook 2000, the link
is not active. I have to put a space after the URL by hand to make it
active.

Is there a way to tell Outlook 2000 to automatically make hyperlinks active
in a message?

Thanks,

Bob

In fact you just copy text to the message; not a link. It's just like
AutoCorrect; it jumps in after you misspelled a word. Same here; after you
copied the text and continue to write it "autocorrects" to a link.
Actually this is a long way of saying "No" ;-)

Thanks Roady. Much appreciated. If you are pasting several hyperlinks it can
be a pain. Oh well.

Yep, but you are placing a space or ENTER in between those right? ;-)

True. In that case you can set Word as the e-mail editor and choose Format->
AutoFormat; worked like a charm for me :)

I am assuming that he's copying and pasting from a list. If the spaces
and carriage returns are already in the text, it only autocorrects the last
entry.

They are all autocorrecting when I manually place a space after the link. I
am thinking of something like a signature with three links in it. Also a
paragraph with one link in it. Guess you just have to go into each email and
put the space after a link.
