hyperlinking from PPT 2002 to Microsft Explorer on Windows XP Professional

Hi - I have created a pps file that contains hyperlinks out to intranet
URLs - it works well EXCEPT that each hyperlink opens up and uses a NEW
explorer session rather than use the existing exlporer session. Anyone know
how I can adjust the hyperlinks to use the one available IE session ?

Powerpoint 2002 10.4205.6714 SP3
XP Professional
IE 6.0.2800 128-bit
