I have a spreadsheet that I've been able to hyperlink email addresses t
text names (Ex: "Dave Smith" is a hyperlink), so when you click on tha
cell, a new email from Outlook opens, the email address (ex
(e-mail address removed)) is already in the "TO:" window, and you can emai
without losing time.
The problem is, most of the contractors I work with have Fax numbers
but no email. Is there a way to hyperlink to faxes? I have the abilit
to run Microsoft Fax, and i have a Fax cover letter Template (Word)
What I would like to do is have the person using the spreadsheet to b
able to click the hyperlink (ex. Dave Smith) and have it either open u
Microsoft fax, or pop up the Template (if I had to do the template, i
there a way to get it to auto-fill the fax number?), and print it an
do faxing the old school way...
I hope you folks can help, or come up with an alternative that can b
used in Excel, embedded, macros, whatever would be apprecated.
